Before each dive:

Housings:

  • Check that the O-rings are correctly seated in their grooves.
  • Ensure the O-rings are free of wear, dirt, hair, or grains of sand.
  • Gently clean the O-ring area with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Apply a light lubrication with silicone grease or petroleum jelly, spreading it evenly (a small amount is sufficient).
  • Make sure no cable, strap, or other object is obstructing the watertight closure.
  • Never remove the O-rings unless expressly instructed by Easydive technical support.

After each day of diving:

Accessories: it is essential to rinse all equipment thoroughly in fresh water immediately after use. Saltwater, if left to dry, can crystallize and damage components or impair proper functionality.

Revolution Lights:

  • Rinse the lights thoroughly in fresh water, blow air on them, and dry the contacts on the charging connector completely before connecting the charger. If needed, dry them with a cloth or absorbent paper: this simple step prevents oxidation of the charging pins.
  • After each day of diving, it is strongly recommended to fully recharge the lights. Important: if the batteries remain discharged for too long, they may lose their ability to recharge, compromising their autonomy. The LiFe batteries in the lights maintain excellent performance even after years, as long as they are always kept fully charged.

Housings:

  • Rinse the housing thoroughly in fresh water.
  • Check that the O-rings are correctly seated in their grooves.
  • Ensure the O-rings are free of wear, dirt, hair, or grains of sand.
  • Never remove the O-rings unless expressly authorized by Easydive technical support.

Before storing the equipment for a period of non-use (short or long):

Arms: Check the condition of the ball O-rings. If they are damaged or worn, replace them.

Clamps:

  • Completely disassemble the clamp.
  • Remove the internal stainless steel spring.
  • Clean all metal parts with a specific product (e.g., SVITOL or WD-40).
  • Lubricate and reassemble carefully.

Screws: it is good practice to periodically disassemble all accessories containing nuts, bolts, and screws, lubricate them with specific products like "SVITOL" or "WD-40", and reassemble them carefully.

Revolution Lights: at least once a month, it is advisable to perform a full charging cycle (regardless of the current battery level) to keep the batteries in optimal condition.

Housings:

  • Carefully inspect the housing.
  • Check the O-rings as described in the previous section.
  • Check that the plexiglass and polycarbonate screens are free from cracks, deep scratches, or deformations.
  • Check the condition of the anti-corrosion zincs and replace them if needed.
  • Store the housing in a dry, clean place away from direct sunlight.
  • Once you’ve ensured the O-rings and their seating areas are well lubricated, store the housing fully closed and sealed, especially before long periods of inactivity. This helps prevent dust and moisture from entering and protects the O-rings from cracking.

Why Annual Maintenance is Worth It

Annual maintenance allows you to:

  • Keep your equipment in perfect condition
  • Prevent leaks, malfunctions, or serious damage through thorough inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and if necessary, personalized technical advice to extend the equipment’s life
  • Prolong the lifespan of individual components

During the inspection, our team checks for signs of wear, performs cleanings, and applies lubricants to reduce friction and improve the movement of mechanical parts. The service includes:

  • O-ring replacement, button and wiring check
  • Software update (if applicable and/or available)
  • Retesting in a pressure chamber up to the maximum guaranteed depth

What Does the Lifetime Warranty Cover?

The Carbonarm Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing or assembly defects, provided that:

  • The housing or light is up to date with its annual maintenance
  • There is no visible damage from impacts or drops that could have compromised its integrity
  • No water leaks have occurred due to improper use

If a defect is recognized under warranty, the repair will be handled with priority.

What Is Not Covered by the Lifetime Warranty?

  • Accidental damage (impacts, drops) or damage caused by natural events (fires, disasters)
  • Damage from prolonged exposure to sunlight or high temperatures
  • Components subject to natural wear: LEDs, batteries, and accessories not manufactured by Carbonarm
  • Water leaks caused by poor maintenance: in such cases, damaged components are not covered by warranty
  • Direct or indirect damage to people or property
  • Improper use, unauthorized modifications, or the use of non-original parts

Warranty Validity

The lifetime warranty remains valid provided that maintenance is carried out every 12 months (within the EU) or every 18 months (outside the EU). After each maintenance service, a sticker indicating the new expiration date is applied to the housing or light.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If your equipment requires work that is not covered under warranty, you will receive a free quote. The average repair time is around 2 weeks.

Changes

Carbonarm reserves the right to change the warranty terms, with prior notice via email or an update on the official website.
