Lifetime Warranty with Annual Maintenance
The underwater housings (video cameras and cameras) and lights are guaranteed for life if you do the maintenance.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
The Carbonarm lifetime warranty covers any manufacturing or assembly defects only if the housing is up to date with maintenance, and has not suffered evident damage, such as accidental impacts or shocks, that have damaged it and compromised the seal.
What doesn't it cover?
The warranty does not cover accidental damage (impacts, falls) or natural damage (fires, calamities) or damage due to prolonged exposure to sunlight and high temperatures.
Components not directly produced by Carbonarm or those subject to wear after their life cycle (LEDs, batteries, accumulators, reflectors, turtle triggers and accessories not produced by Carbonarm) are excluded from the warranty.
The warranty does not cover in any case compensation for direct or indirect damages of any nature caused to persons or property.
The warranty is void if you use the equipment improperly, if unauthorized personnel make modifications or repairs, or if you use non-original spare parts.
Safe and Reliable Repairs
Every product we make is built to last. We design housings and equipment to document the underwater world, robust and easy to use with innovative functions you can rely on. When needed, you have access to safe, reliable and fast repairs with original components. Only this way can we ensure you have a memorable diving experience: zero problems for your equipment.
If you find a defect on the housing under warranty, we will repair it as a priority. Pick-up and delivery costs are borne by us. If during checks we notice that water has entered, the damaged components are not under warranty.
Validity
The warranty on Carbonarm underwater housings is valid forever if annual maintenance is performed.
Repairs and Failures Outside Warranty
If the housing needs a repair outside warranty, we will send you a free quote.
The time required for out-of-warranty repairs is about 2 weeks.
For urgent repair requests, within 72 hours, the cost will be increased and indicated in the quote.
Variations
Carbonarm reserves the right to vary the terms provided by giving notice by email or by notifying changes on the website.
Maintenance helps extend the life of your equipment
Carbonarm housings and lights are a concentration of technology. They are equipment designed to last over time. When they work, they do so in extreme conditions and in a difficult environment, which is why it's important to do an annual check.
What it consists of in practice, and why it's convenient for you to do it
Maintenance is an annual check that allows us to verify the condition of your equipment, so it will always be reliable: zero problems, no flooding or malfunctions. Don't compromise your dive and vacation.
Standard maintenance includes:
- O-ring replacement, magnetic button check, wiring check
- Software update (if available)
- Re-testing in pressure chamber (at maximum guaranteed depth)
After testing, the lifetime warranty will be renewed for 12 months (Europe) or 18 months (Extra EU). You will find a sticker on the housing or light with this indication.

The indicated prices refer to maintenance performed every 12 months (Europe) or every 18 months (Extra Europe). If you request maintenance late, we apply a 20% surcharge.
Pick-up and delivery service available at home or at an affiliated pick-up point, the service price will be communicated by confirming the address and dimensions/weight of the package
Prevent Problems
Over time and with use, the housing components deteriorate: cracked O-rings, oxidized magnetic buttons and electronic boards, worn connections or wiring that compromise communication between the camera and electronics.
During maintenance we identify any signs of wear, damage or malfunctions and play ahead so you avoid causing major damage, such as flooding of electronics or camera.
Maintenance also includes the application of lubricants and cleaning of equipment. This reduces friction and wear of moving parts, improves fluidity and prevents problems caused by dirt or debris.
After maintenance, when needed, you receive consultation from the Carbonarm team: tips and tricks to make the most of your equipment and make it last over time.
We take care of everything: every year we send you an email to remind you that the warranty is about to expire and that it's time for maintenance.
