Hot Shoe Ball

Starting ball for Hot Shoe, composed of an M6 sphere with blind thread and a Hot Shoe mount. At the bottom, a flash contact with an M6 threaded plate is screwed directly to the base of the ball (removable if needed).

Ball diameter 2.5 cm (1”), 100% made in Italy, manufactured from high-quality anticorodal aluminum and anodized with a 40-micron military treatment to ensure maximum resistance to wear and saltwater corrosion over time.

This ball can be mounted directly on housings or other accessories equipped with a Hot Shoe mount, providing an ideal anchoring point for arms, balls, lights and accessories, starting from a clamp.

Friction function underwater: the ball is equipped with an O-ring that creates a friction effect when locked in a clamp. This system allows quick and precise orientation of the clamp and the entire set-up above it, without the need for continuous loosening or tightening. Underwater, it is sufficient to slightly loosen the clamp’s wing nut to adjust the position: thanks to the action of the O-ring, the clamp remains stable without requiring excessive tightening and is always ready to be repositioned if needed.

With use, the O-ring may wear over time; in this case, simply replace it with the dedicated spare kit.
