The Moby mount for underwater scooters (DPVs) Seacraft version is designed to easily and quickly attach underwater housings for cameras, camcorders and smartphones directly onto the Seacraft scooter, thanks to its practical quick-release system. 

Unlike the universal Moby mount, it is designed to be attached to Seacraft rings instead of the universal DPV strap. This mount offers maximum reliability, strength and creative freedom during every dive, allowing you to capture stable and high-quality footage while navigating.

It provides maximum reliability, stability and creative freedom during every DPV dive. A choice appreciated by professional underwater photographers and videographers worldwide.

Thanks to the central rotating base with quick-release system, you can set up your gear on land and easily attach it to the scooter before diving. A practical, safe, and reliable system, designed for professionals and enthusiasts of underwater photo and video on the move.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with all Seacraft scooters.
  • Compatible with all underwater photo and video housings available on the market: depending on the size, material, and configuration of the housing, you may need to use the accessory “Moby Tray for Housings” or "double grip tray" (not included, sold separately). The first is recommended for all medium to large-sized housings; the second is suitable for housings without handles, when you want to detach them from the scooter and use them handheld during the dive. 

Recommendations for using Carbonarm housings with the Moby mount:

  • Action cam housings for GoPro, Insta360 Ace Pro, DJI Osmo Action: we recommend mounting them with a "25 cm or 30 cm double grip tray" accessory.
  • DiveshotR housings for smartphones: we recommend mounting them with the “Moby Tray for Housings” accessory.

The new mount for underwater Seacraft scooters is designed to ensure maximum practicality, stability and versatility when using photo and video gear during dives.

Simple and secure fastening: easily mounted on the Seacraft scooters using 4 steel screws included.

Anti-slip design: the base features 8 O-rings to ensure stable, slip-resistant grip on the scooter body.

Intuitive quick-release system: equipped with an ergonomic knob, designed to be used with dry gloves and adjustable in 3 operating modes:

  1. Locked central rotating base: once attached, the central plate remains fixed and locked in place.
  2. Rotating central rotating base: once attached, the central plate rotates and can be locked in 15° increments, allowing precise and customizable orientation.
  3. Detached (free) central rotating circular base: the central plate is completely released from the Moby support and free to be used independently.

The central plate is suitable for a wide range of housings:

  • Small action cam housings: recommended with dual-handle trays.
  • Larger DSLR or Mirrorless housings: recommended with the “Moby Housing Support Bracket”.

Customizable configuration: the knob can be mounted frontally or laterally by changing the cylindrical supports. Moby also supports the addition of a floating ring (optional) to balance the slight weight of the metal. On the sides, 4 M6 threaded holes allow mounting of accessories such as:

  • M6 balls
  • Quick-release mounts
  • Underwater lights and other gear

High-quality materials:

  • Polyethylene frame: lightweight, resistant and almost neutral in water.
  • Central rotating base anticorodal aluminum anodized with a 40-micron military treatment: strong and durable.

Dimensions and practicality: the removable 11 cm central rotating base can also be used as a stable stand for equipment once detached from the scooter.
